| In June 2001 I was fortunate to
have the opportunity to travel to Senegal, Chad, and South Africa,
thereby completing my goal of visiting all seven continents.
I didn't have any time to explore in Senegal or Chad, although at
the N'Djamena Airport in Chad I saw several large agamid lizards
living on the buildings. |

While in South Africa I traveled to Pilanesberg
National Park, where I went on a little safari. The picture
shown here shows just one of the many animals I saw on that
trip. My prize sightings, though, were of a Nile
monitor lizard and a Nile crocodile. |
